Dresden Codak – A totally feminist celebration of the female form
He’s a shot of Dresden Codak, where a robot notices something on Kim’s back. Normally, you’d expect a panel where a character notices a minor detail to be an extreme close-up of said detail. Especially when there are two symbols on Kim’s back, and the robot’s only referring to one of them. Instead, Aaron Diaz drew with torso shot of Kim arching backwards in an extreme angle in a manner that causes her breasts to be more prominent, even though the next panel has Kim leaning forward, which makes more sense in context. This is a rather weird pose (seriously, look at the zipper, her spine’s taking a fucking U-turn) that doesn’t seem to work well for the story, but whatever that’s weird.
Fortunately, we get a better look at the symbol when Kimiko strips down to her panties for some reason. I guess she doesn’t wear a bra? Here are some outfits she later wears
Here’s a strong powerful woman who don’t need no man standing in a pose that prominently displays her boob and ass-cheeks.
But enough of that, bank to Kimiko
She’s being read a story about a woman with a cleavage-revealing tear in her shirt.
And she puts herself in a body lacking any human elements like a heart or liver or pants, but at least she got a bra back.
Though her panties have a zipper in the crotch, which is weirdly fetishy. Take a look at those abs, though (seriously, I’ll come back to this)
Kim stares into the sky. You’re gonna have to take my word for this because you can’t see her eyes or her expression, but there were more important things to put in this panel.
She’s so overwhelmed that she rubs her boob, jumps into the water while bending forward (ass towards up), lands in the water while bending backwards and twisting in a weird way (ass towards us), and getting a close-up of her thighs.
Fortunately, Kimiko’s undies are fireproof, which comes up after her closes are burnt off her again.
And then she changes clothes. Check out that six-pack, by the way. She didn’t have that before. I know because I see Kimiko Ross’s torso an awful lot.
Oh no, I ran out of Dark Science to read! If only Diaz update more than one page a month. Maybe I can read something similar. How about….
How about late-90s fanservice harem manga Love Hina?
As it happens, the first chapter is about as long as all of Dresden Codak (77 pages to Codak’s 66). This series is entirely a set of excuses for weirdly PG-13 waifu nudity, though. So it’ll have way more panels objectifying its female cast
Like this ass shot
This sideboob shot
This cleavage shot with porny dialouge.
And this accidental boob-grab
And….uh…..
Huh.
I expected there to be more.
