Saffron and Sage

And that’s….Saffron and Sage! Saffron has successfully rescued her prince, Liri became an adventurer, Cory is beginning to work on his issues, and Sage helped Saffron chill out! The quest that started under the Obama administration has come to an end! One writer, two artists, a colorist, eight chapters, and ten years. Woof. We were all different when we started. Younger. Hotter. Full of life. But we’re also smarter now, wiser and more experienced.

And I for one intend to put that experience to good use, when we start Saffron and Sage, Book 2: The Princess of the Pyre! An all-new, all-different story in the Saffron and Sage world, with an all-old creative team. And while I’ve spent my youth on book 1 (and Legend of the Hare!), this old rabbit’s still got a few new tricks to learn. We’ll be taking a bit of a break between books one and two so that I can “plan” the “story”. What a concept. We might even build a buffer so we’re not missing a zillion updates. I’ve been talking to an comics editor and everything. About unrelated things, but still!
