As it struck the floor, Good Intentions Bat finally realised that it was completely unloved. That it had only ever been seen as a tool. That it was only ever valued for its hard striking surfaces, leverage, and ironic name, and never for that cute little ruffling in its grain nor its well-honed stoicism in the face of humour nor any of the other traits that it truly felt of as its own. That was the day that Good Intentions Bat gave up on life…
Spiders continue being cute, and Botoxia’s parentage continues to be a profoundly foreboding yet insidiously tantalising mystery.
Oh this reminds me, I thought Botoxia was creepy before the adorable spiders had me second-guessing. 😉
